Amiri Geuka Farris’s “Dreaming Savannah” Exhibit at Grand Bohemian Gallery

Amiri Geuka Farris’s “Dreaming Savannah” exhibit will be open to the public from June 10 - July 9 at The Mansion on Forsyth Park in the Grand Bohemian Gallery.

Grand Bohemian Gallery, conveniently located in The Mansion on Forsyth Park, will continue its 2021 Savannah Series showcasing talented local artists with a special solo exhibit featuring work by Amiri Geuka Farris. The exhibit will feature Farris’s signature multimedia work, which is defined by vivid colors and layered textures. This series includes paintings inspired through the act of finding a visual intimacy within daily life of exploring Savannah and the sea islands. These works of art capture ambiguous moments of nature, fused through the artistic practice, emerging as colorful paintings and assemblages capturing a moment in time. This show, which is free and open to the public, is the second exhibit in the 2021 Savannah Series.

Amiri Geuka Farris will be the featured artist at Grand Bohemian Gallery at The Mansion on Forsyth Park from June 10 through July 9.

The exhibit will be open for guests from Thursday, June 10, 2021 – Friday, July 9, 2021 and will be available for viewing daily from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. or by appointment. There will be an opening reception, free for all guests, on Thursday, June 10, from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m.
