Headquartered in midtown Savannah, Optim Orthopedics (originally founded as Orthopedic Center, PC) has been operating since 1976. Our focus is in orthopedics and have 22 highly specialized physicians that see patients in over 20 satellite locations throughout southeast Georgia. Our specialties cover the entire body—Foot & Ankle, General Orthopedics, Hand, Wrist & Elbow, Pediatric Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Spine, Total Joint and Orthopedic Urgent Care.
Optim has been a pioneer in bringing state-of-the-art Orthopedics to Savannah and Coastal Georgia and was among one of the first groups in the state to add in-office imaging, therapy and outpatient surgery. Optim Orthopedics was the only group in the Georgia to develop an orthopedic-dedicated hospital (2008) in Reidsville, Georgia. The physician-owned Optim Medical Center-Tattnall has continuously been recognized by Healthgrades, for their 5-Star Achievements for Total Knee Replacement (5 years in a row, 2012-2016), Total Hip Replacement (3 years in a Row, 2012-2014) and has added a 5-Star Achievement for Spinal Fusion in 2016.
