Wiley’s Championship BBQ has been firing up the grill since 2008, when barbecue champion Wiley McCrary turned his catering business into a restaurant in Savannah, GA. Since then, Wiley’s (and its current owners Melinda and Nate Shaffer) have been racking up awards for being the barbeque champion, and after tasting their food, you’ll soon learn why.

With an emphasis on slow smoked barbecued food, Wiley’s large variety of eats are just waiting for you to dig into. A visit is incomplete without trying the slow-smoked St Louis cut ribs that just fall off the bone paired with one of the pit masters’ sides like some fried okra or the Dutch crust sweet potato casserole. Don’t forget to order some extra of their famous “better than sex” sauce. Trust us, it’s that good!

Pop in for lunch or dinner, enjoy one of their daily specials, and finish it off with a lip-smacking variety of Wicked Cakes of Savannah and Leopold’s Ice Cream.
