Say goodbye to hangovers. The High Rise Beverage Company has teamed up with the Charleston Hemp Collective to bring a stunning non-alcoholic bar specializing in cannabis-infused mocktails.

The streets of James Island are in for a real treat with the opening of South Carolina’s first-ever cannabis dry bar. The non-alcoholic bar opened with a bang on Friday, August 11 and is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday to Wednesday and open till 11 p.m. on Thursday to Saturday for guests to enjoy the stunning mocktails with the option to infuse cannabis into their drinks. 

The High Rise Dry Bar is the brainchild of the High Rise Beverage Company and Charleston Hemp Collective and is located in the Charleston Hemp Collective’s newest location. Matt and Libiss Skinner, the founders of the Charleston Hemp Collective and its sister company, the High Rise Beverage company, saw how well the cannabis seltzers were doing and knew they had something special on their hands. According to the owners, the idea was to cater to those that don’t drink alcohol but still want that “elevated experience” that a bar offers, especially as drinking in Charleston is very popular. 

Located inside the Charleston Hemp Collective retail location, one side of the building is the store and the other side is the bar. Inside the store, you’ll find everything CBD inside, from drinks, eats, pre-rolls and even bath bombs. With the retail side just steps away, guests can try out the cannabis-infused products in the bar, like a can of the High Rise seltzer and then buy some for home. Just because a mocktail has zero alcohol doesn’t mean it doesn’t have to be fun. On their menu, you’ll find unique blends of salted watermelon, elderberry bitters, rosemary aperitif and your choice of infused seltzer known as the Harmony. Be adventurous and try the Introspection mocktail made up of Lapsang souchong, hemp honey, bitters, orange, tequila and the flavorful cinnamon smoke.  

For those not wanting a cannabis-infused drink, some mocktails come with a cannabis-free option, and for wine lovers, there is a light and sparkling alcohol-free Rose available.     

What makes this bar unique is the fact that the High Rise Beverage Company will be serving its refreshing seltzers made with real fruit and cannabinoids. All mocktails are made with high-quality Delta-8 THC, Delta-9 THC, CBD and even hemp honey sourced from across the country. An added service is the THC gummy’s that people can add to their orders to enjoy while sipping on a delicious mocktail.  

Whether you’re a seasoned THC user or you’ve never tried any form of Cannabis, The Dry Bar will have everything you need. The owners of the bar have emphasized why first-timers users should visit the High Rise Dry Bar, saying, “Our brands are founded on education rather than fast sales” and that “It’s a great place to start for someone who has never tried any of these products or any of these different strands.” 

The staff at the bar make sure your experience with the products is enjoyable as you’ll be in a place “where you’ll be surrounded by people who truly know this product inside and out.”
