The 200 Club of the Coastal Empire honored some of the area’s most courageous first responders at the 2021 Valor Awards Thursday evening, April 15th at the Charles H. Morris Center. Valor Awards are presented to law enforcement, fire and EMS personnel from the Coastal Empire who have exhibited extreme valor while on duty.

This year’s recipients were Chatham Emergency Services Paramedic Mindy Cauley, the first ever female recipient of a Valor Award, and Savannah Police Department Officer Raymond Purnell.
