The Kimpton Brice Welcomes Jason Gifford as General Manager of Savannah Boutique Hotel

In this role, Gifford will be responsible for managing the hotel’s day-to-day success.

The Kimpton Brice – the charming boutique hotel capturing the heartbeat of Savannah’s historic landmark district – proudly announces Jason Gifford as General Manager. In this role, Gifford will be responsible for managing the hotel’s day-to-day success, overseeing all operational aspects of the 145-room hotel including everything from sales and marketing to food and beverage – including its on-site restaurant, Pacci – while maximizing company revenue.

“As we wrap up renovations at The Kimpton Brice, we’re beyond honored to have Jason join and lead our team,” said Eric Enriquez, Director of Sales. “With over 25 years of leadership experience, Gifford’s outstanding record of management success will help us further enhance our existing reputation for genuine Southern hospitality.”

A seasoned leader in the hospitality realm, Gifford joins The Kimpton Brice following a nearly two-year stint as General Manager at The National Hotel Oklahoma City, and prior to his time in Oklahoma, Gifford served as General Manager at The Last Hotel St. Louis. Additionally, Gifford’s resume touts executive-level positions like Director of Rooms and Director of Housekeeping at several notable hotel properties including The Stella Hotel, Warwick Hotel Denver, Viceroy Snowmass and more. Gifford’s passion for hospitality runs deep as he rose the ranks from starting his career as the midnight Bellman in 1992, then moving up to Guest Service Manager, Sales Manager, Director of Front Office Operations and eventually on to even higher roles.

Sitting next to a stunning line of ancient live oaks dripping in Spanish moss, lies The Kimpton Brice Hotel, located on the northeastern edge of the historic district and just a cobblestone’s throw away from the renowned River Street. Housed in a three-story building dating to the 1860s, the 145-room property is imbued with the hotel brand’s distinctive, whimsical style including a brick courtyard strung with lights {referred to as the Secret Garden} and meandering bookshelves arranged by color — a nod to Savannah’s literary roots. Located on the ground-floor, guests are transported to Italy at Pacci Italian Kitchen + Bar serving Italian-inspired dishes, from coffee and pastries in the morning to tortellini and espresso-rubbed ribeye for dinner. The Kimpton Brice Hotel exudes southern hospitality with its long list of amenities including the sparkling outdoor pool, nearly 6,000 square feet of eclectic meeting space, a 24-hour fitness center, cherry-red cruiser bikes for tooling around town and so much more.
