Spread the Love this Holiday Season
Celia Dunn’s Realty is working together with Bluffton Self Help, and Emmaus House, to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate.
Have you ever considered what it would be like to be homeless? To go hungry? To live without certain luxuries that we often take for granted, like proper clothing, toiletries, and reliable income?
For some people, poverty, hunger, and instability are just parts of everyday life. Some would be ecstatic to be able to pay their rent, or find something for dinner, let alone get their hands on a cup of hot cocoa. But this holiday season, Celia Dunn’s Realty is working together with Bluffton Self Help, and Emmaus House, to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate.
From now through December 18th, they will be accepting food donations for Bluffton Self Help, as well as Emmaus house. Both organizations have been helping the homeless and needy in their areas by providing meals, clothing, and other necessities throughout the year – but this is only made possible by donations from people like you.
Take a second to try to share some of your favorite holiday comforts with someone else. Can’t get enough of that pumpkin pie? Donate a can of pumpkin pie filling to Bluffton Self Help from 9am to 3pm, Tuesday through Saturday at 52 Calhoun Street. Are you a mac n’ cheese devotee? Drop off a box from 9am – 5pm, Monday through Friday at 17 W Charlton St. to donate to Emmaus house. Open your heart (and your pantry), this holiday season, and show your love for others in the form of canned peas, stuffing mix, jarred gravy, and cranberry sauce.
