Rocks on the River

Rocks on the River

Contemporary Southern cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere.

Sitting alongside the historic cobblestone road of River Street, Rocks on the River is buried deep in the heart of Savannah’s downtown district. Executive Chef JP Filion has crafted a contemporary southern menu that’s both contemporary and worldly, taking a modern approach to Southern cuisine and relying heavily on the bounty of our region’s farms and waters. One of their staple dishes is a fascinating take on fried green tomatoes — which they top with pork belly glazed in citrus honey, pimento cheese and charred jalapeño ranch. In addition to their new menu, Rocks on the River also launched a brand new dessert selection, featuring a watermelon and lime sorbet sprinkled with salted caramel praline. It’s all served amid a chic setting of curated artwork and aged-wood accents. Overlooking the Savannah River, Rocks on the Roof is the scenic getaway just above Rocks on the River, serving drinks alongside an impressive small-plate selection, perfect for sharing. Whether visiting the ground-floor dining room or the scenic rooftop, Rocks on the River at  the Bohemian Hotel Savannah Riverfront offers an unforgettable experience with their upscale-casual atmosphere.
