October is National Seafood Month, and Savannah’s signature River Street restaurant Rhett is the perfect place to celebrate. Situated atop the Savannah River in the Plant Riverside District, Rhett’s surroundings of Savannah’s shipping port have served as a muse and inspiration behind the menu that celebrates the bounty of the Lowcountry while honoring Southern classics.

Its menu offers guests the comfort and approachability of what we have come to love from coastal American cuisine, including staple seafood dishes like the delicious She Crab Soup, Pan Seared Black Grouper and a Jumbo Lump Blue Crab Cake.
Additionally, Rhett’s Seafood Tower showcases the best of the Hostess City’s seafood. Filled with saltine oysters, snow crab claws, shrimp, citrus-marinated tuna, smoked shrimp dip, citrus water and vodka sauce, the Seafood Tower is the perfect way to indulge during National Seafood Month.
Rhett offers Sparkling Hour at the lounge or bar, from 5-7 p.m. every Monday-Thursday. Guests can pair an $8 glass of Brut champagne with market oysters and small plates like the mussels and fries, from the restaurant’s large dinner menu.
Open Monday to Sunday, 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. for brunch and Monday to Wednesday, 5 to 9 p.m. and Thursday to Saturday, 5 to 10 p.m. for dinner, Rhett’s current menus and reservation request can be found at
