Savannah's First Ever Tattoo Fest Kicks Off April 15th
DRESS UP, TAT UP, BUT MOST OF ALL SHOW UP!

DRESS UP, TAT UP, BUT MOST OF ALL SHOW UP!
In the defiant words of Jack London,
“Show me a man with a tattoo and I’ll show you a man with an interesting past.”
Those among us who have decided to, as they say, “ink up”, would probably agree. Tattoos tell stories. Whether it’s a – “it was 3 AM, I was drunk, and it’s supposed to say peace not piece”, kind of story, or a “It’s in remembrance of one of my best friends,” kind of story, or even a, “It’s just a flower, I thought it looked pretty”, kind of story, it is a reflection on the surface of something contained inside, and they provide an opportunity to follow the advice of Sylvia Plath’s, Carmey, who recommended that you “wear your heart on your skin in this life”.
This weekend, Savannah is throwing the shindig of a lifetime, involving all the people with a dedication to ink, and everything that comes with it. Running from Friday the 15th to Sunday the 17th, there will be over 200 tattooers, live music, unusual vendors, hotrods, motorcycles, sideshows, suspensions, body painting, murals, pin-up girls, contests, prizes, and more.
Kicking off this Friday at 12 o’clock at the Savannah International Trade and Convention Center, the Savannah Tattoo Festival is the perfect opportunity to hang out, have fun, and make some questionable decisions.
Make your way over there this weekend, and remember, NO RAGRETS!
