This Italian kitchen offers high-quality ingredients to produce the finest dishes around.
The newest member of the Italian scene in Savannah is located on Abercorn just south of DeRenne in the Twelve Oaks Shopping Center. Sugo Rossa’s principal: start with a great product and cook it well. An open kitchen with wood-fired pizza and classic Italian dishes fills the space with a hospitable aroma that is hard to ignore.
You will find classic dishes such as chicken & eggplant parmesan, chicken & veal picatta, and manicotti & lasagna for those comfort options. Pizzas are baked in their custom wood-fired oven at 800 degrees and have a sought-after “leopard” charring that only this oven can offer. The chef’s daily specials have ranged from Whole Grilled Bronzino over rice with puttanesca sauce to Osso Bucco filled house-made raviolis with mushroom-marsala sauce.
Sugo Rossa offers a clean, modern setting with touches of rustic Italian influence that sets a warm, inviting feel to your dining experience. Sugo Rossa offers a full bar with global influence in the spirits, wine, and beer selections.
The guests’ experience is at the heart of what they do each day, and as a guest you can always expect a warm smile, courteous service, and a generous feeling of goodwill.
