Jones, Boykin & Associates helps Davids against Goliaths.

Noble Boykin stays true his roots and the community that nurtured him. Raised in Pooler, Georgia, when it was still a tiny bedroom community, Boykin grew up among the hard-working families that made their livings in west side Savannah factories and neighboring dairy farms.

Noble Boykin knows the salt of the earth. And It is for these people that Jones, Boykin & Associates dedicates its work. “I think this background molded my penchant for helping the underdog achieve a level playing field,” Boykin said.

This is the firm to call if you’ve been injured or harmed in a traffic crash, industrial accident or have been the victim of medical negligence. While they can’t undo what happened, the attorneys of Jones, Boykin and Associates can get insurance companies and employers to do the right thing. They have won numerous trials and settlements of $1 million or more.

The firm represents workers injured at the Port of Savannah and other local industries, as well as people treated unfairly by insurance companies, big corporations and, on occasion, the government.

For Boykin it really is about making things right for people, especially those who find themselves harmed by the misdeeds of others.

“Our firm’s motto is ‘helping folks in Savannah for over 30 years.’ I think that pretty much sums up our mission—our goal is to provide experienced and competent legal help when people need it most.”

Jones, Boykin, & Associates: A Savannah born and raised team
on the side of working people, fighting for the underdog

When Noble Boykin began practicing law over 30 years ago, one of his first cases was a home foreclosure in Effingham County. After the foreclosure auction, an elderly black woman in a white hat and dress approached Boykin.

The auctioned home was hers and she wanted to know when she had to leave. It was a pivotal moment for Boykin. “I knew then I did not want to spend my career doing that kind of work,” Said Boykin.

Workers’ rights, on the job injury, and wrongful death cases were of special interest to Boykin. In these, he saw opportunities where he could use his lawyering skills to help people who most needed competent representation.

Over the years Boykin has represented many factory workers and longshoremen injured on the job. One case in particular stands out in his memory.

“I represented a longshoreman who had been injured four separate times before I met him,” recalled Boykin, “and he always got back up and went to work.”

The fifth time the man was injured, he sought out Boykin. Through no fault of his own, a loading crane swept him off the top of a large stack of containers atop a loaded shipping vessel. The longshoreman fell 70 feet, striking a cross-bar on the crane before landing on the concrete. Miraculously, he survived.

Noble Boykin represented the longshoreman and fought for his right to a settlement that would ensure his medical care for the rest of his life. After 10 years and multiple appeals, Boykin won a $1.4 million award for the man.

“I feel fortunate to be able to put my mind and skills to work for people in our community and help make sure they get what they are due in the legal process,” said Boykin. If you find yourself a David going up against a Goliath, Noble Boykin is the attorney to call.
