Home's for the Wealthy Fit Savannah's Locale
Sotheby’s International Realty Luxury Lifestyle Report details ideal properties for the affluent and Savannah fits the bill.
It turns out that Savannah really does have something for everyone. A survey of affluent consumers examined what their single dream home would be, and Savannah happens to have each of the top responses. The Sotheby’s International Realty Luxury Lifestyle Report details the ideal real estate for wealthy people in four countries. For Americans, a house on the water topped the list, described more exact as a “lifestyle property” on the waterfront. This wish list also included a multi-car collector’s garage, which they designed themselves. A separate study of search activity on sothebysrealty.com shows “waterfront” was the top lifestyle search on the website. Savannah and the Low country, of course, have some spectacular waterfront homes, such as Hilton Head Island gem and this three-acre, five bedroom 18th Century King's Land Grant. Both of them happen to have amazing garages. Wealthy Brits would likely find something they like in Savannah as well – their dream home would have historic significance, such as this Savannah gem. Savannah and the Low country has historic homes in many different architectural styles and lifestyles, from downtown historic district homes and 18th century King’s Land Grant to historic homes tucked away in quiet country settings.
Here in Savannah, it's easy to find that desired home, or a luxury home away from home.
