Dr. Jonathan Lanham, the newest member of our team One of the newest members of the team at SouthCoast Health Cardiology, Dr. Jonathan Lanham (pictured right) comes to the practice with a distinguished resume of accomplishments. After receiving his bachelor’s degree in biology from the West Virginia Wesleyan College, he later went to the West Virginia University School of Medicine to obtain his medical degree, complete his medical residency in Internal Medicine, and achieve his fellowships in both Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Lanham was given the opportunity to see the importance of his work. His high school math teacher had a heart attack, and Dr. Lanham was able to assist with her care and emergently implant a stent that would successfully limit the damage from her heart attack. “It felt fantastic to give back to someone who believed in me as a young man. We were able to really help her. She is doing great, and I still keep in touch with her every so often,” Dr. Lanham said.SouthCoast Health Cardiology
