Historic Savannah Foundation's Architectural Pub Crawl
HISTORIC SAVANNAH FOUNDATION’S 13TH COLONY
TO HOST ARCHITECTURAL PUB CRAWL
Historic Savannah Foundation’s 13th Colony will host its annual Architectural Pub Crawl, led by Architectural Tours of Savannah’s Jonathan Stalcup, at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, March 1. The tour will launch from Prohibition Savannah, 125 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. beginning at 6:30 p.m.
Upon leaving Prohibition Savannah, the tour will visit Husk Savannah, followed by El-Rocko Lounge, and will end at the Alley Cat Lounge at 9:00 p.m. This year’s Architectural Pub Crawl will focus on modernist architecture around historic Telfair Square.
“We combine two of Savannah’s favorite things into one exciting event: fun tours and beautiful architecture,” said Membership and Volunteer Coordinator Chassidy Malloy. “This event is a great opportunity for young professionals from our community to network while learning about modernist architecture adjacent to Telfair Square.”
Historic Savannah Foundation is cultivating the next generation of preservation-minded community leaders through its 13th Colony supporters. The mission of the 13th Colony is to promote greater understanding and awareness of historic preservation and the goals of Historic Savannah Foundation to a younger audience, while also engaging their participation in HSF programs and events, while building future HSF leadership. Participants of the Architectural Pub Crawl will be offered a 50 percent 13th Colony membership discount for all first-time members.
