Polo 4 Heroes

Date/Time

Oct 27, 2019
12:30 PM until 05:30 PM

Description

Men and women in uniform.  Military, police, fire, and EMT, all serving unselfishly, putting their lives on the line every day. Defending our freedom, protecting goodness from evil, saving lives while risking their own.

Two local nonprofit charities, operated 100%  by volunteers, raise funds to support our local heroes injured or perishing in the line of duty. The Lowcountry Foundation for Wounded Military Heroes and the 200 Club of the Coastal Empire, serve similar missions…helping those that help others.

An all volunteer effort, these two amazing organizations are presenting Polo 4 Heroes, a great event to entertain, socialize, and enjoy food and beverages with a backdrop of an exciting polo match. Attendees are encouraged to bring their best "tailgate" gear, food and beverages, or purchase one of the many packages offered. Gates open at 12:30 with a Grand Opening Ceremony at 1:30, consisting of a Special Operations Parachute Team, a procession of combined Honor Guards, emergency vehicles, luxury automobiles, polo teams, the SCAD Equestrian Team, and more. The featured polo match commences at 2:30.

On Friday, October 25th, there will be a VIP Gala at Outback in Bluffton, limited to 100 individuals. Enjoy live entertainment, a social reception, dinner, and auctions. On October 27th, 100 individuals can enjoy the VIP Hospitality area with all inclusive food and nonalcoholic beverages, live entertainment by CC Witt of Lyn Avenue, early admission, and exclusive activities. Our top 3 levels of sponsorship will also benefit by early admission and experience an exclusive demonstration by the SCAD National Championship Equestrian Team.

FACES OF THE SOUTH — THE TRILOGY GALLERY 5

This is not a celebration. It is not a salute. This, readers, is a manifesto. It is a bold declaration of the richness of the South, of the majestic talents, relentless ambition and singular vision that reside just behind each face you pass in your travels. These are the faces of the people who are creating the new South through the sweat of their brow and the depth of their passions. But if you never look closer you may never know how deep that passion goes, and what it has accomplished.
