Every 60 minutes, a person dies from oral cancer. Early symptoms are rare, but if you can catch it, early detection makes a dramatic difference, increasing survival rates to as much as 90 percent. In an effort to help promote people getting checked regularly, Dr. Angela Canfield is offering free oral health screenings until the end of April to people at her Savannah office and her Rincon office. These tests only take about 10 minutes, and if there are signs of cancer, she’ll be able to tell right away.
