Historic Savannah Foundation (HSF) is gearing up for the 2019 Race for Preservation. The 5k/10k race route begins and ends at Forsyth Park and runs through five historic neighborhoods. HSF aims to educate runners, spectators and the general public about the importance of preservation by showcasing its impacts along the race route.
Race proceeds are used to further the work of HSF as the organization continues to save buildings, places and stories that define Savannah's past, present and future.
Registration is open online through February 21 and costs $35-$40 per person. To register, please visit https://runsignup.com/Race/GA/Savannah/Preservation. Late registrations will be available during the packet pick-up from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Friday, February 22 at Fleet Feet Savannah, 3405 Waters Ave. Everyone is welcome to join this event – even pets!
