Dr. Ron Finger was the first Board-Certified plastic surgeon in Savannah.

DR. E. RONALD FINGER’S APPRECIATION FOR MEDICINE DEVELOPED AT A VERY YOUNG AGE. “I was in the operating room with my father, who was a general surgeon, when I was 14 years old,” says Dr. Finger. “I never considered doing anything else.” It’s no wonder Dr. Finger has a tremendous amount of skill; he’s been at it a long time. Over the past four decades he’s undoubtedly touched the lives of many. It was in 1973 that Dr. Finger was honorably discharged as a Lieutenant Colonel from the United States Air Force and became board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He returned home and created the first outpatient plastic surgery center in Georgia and was the first board-certified plastic surgeon in Savannah. It’s been a career of firsts ever since.

He was the first to perform liposuction in Georgia; the first to open a medical spa in the coastal area, the New Youth Medical Spa; the first to open the largest, most comprehensive laser center in the Coastal Empire; the first to offer the NeoGraft Hair Transplant system in Georgia; and the first to offer the No Drain Tummy Tuck in Savannah. He also developed New Youth Skin Care, which was one of the first physician-developed anti-aging skin care systems in the United States. He even authored an anti-aging book titled, Why Grow Old.

SERVICES:
No Drain Tummy Tuck • Liposuction/Tickle Lipo • The Brazilian Butt Lift • Breast Augmentation/Reduction • Face Lift • Rhinoplasty • Cellfina for Cellulite • Nonsurgical Facelift • Injectables • NeoGraft Hair Transplant • Skin-Tightening Procedures • Fraxel Laser Procedures

Dr. Finger’s goal is to make people happy with themselves. He gives them a new-found confidence that many have never had before. “Self-confidence is the most influential emotion that rules the way people act,” says Dr. Finger. Dr. Finger offers an extensive list of treatment options to include surgical and nonsurgical procedures. The most common procedures he performs include, NeoGraft hair transplants, eyelid lifts, rhinoplasty, face and neck lifts, breast augmentations, liposuction, and tummy tucks. “Plastic surgery is creative and artistic and it’s an endless frontier. It combines science with art,” says Dr. Finger.

In order to offer his patients the most cutting-edge treatments, Dr. Finger is a big believer in improving his skills. “You have to continue learning, too. You can’t just rest on your past laurels. You can always get better.” One of the new innovative procedures Dr. Finger offers is called Cellfina, a nonsurgical cellulite reduction system that targets the connective bands just under your skin. Also, patients can take advantage of a 3D-Simulation program that allows them to upload photos and see what they look like before and after other procedures.

When asked if Dr. Finger plans to retire anytime soon, he says, “That would be retiring from having fun. There’s nothing else I’d rather do!”
