Sandra Bullock's Oasis by the Sea
Tybee Island's Jewel Prince is For Sale
If you want to call it “A Little Slice of Heaven,” okay.
Two properties on Tybee Island currently owned by Academy Award-winning actress Sandra Bullock are for sale listed at $6.1 million. This price includes nine parcels on 2.77 acres, with three buildable lots – two of which are beachfront. If a buyer does not want the entire estate, the guesthouse is available by itself for $1.399 million. Both houses are being sold fully furnished minus just a few personal items, according to the listing agent, Celia Dunn Sotheby’s International Realty on Tybee Island. Get ready to say, “Wow!”
According to the listing site, if you might be interested in buying this property, “The main house has 3,360 square feet of luxury living for you to enjoy. Entering up the grand front stairway, flanked by expansive screened porches, puts you right in the heart of the home. The cathedral ceilings encompass the living room, dining room and kitchen, which are all open to each other, perfect for family gatherings and entertaining friends. The gourmet kitchen boasts everything the home chef needs including Viking and Sub-Zero stainless steel appliances, a wine chiller and a large butler’s pantry. The master suite is located on the main level with a separate shower and claw foot soaking tub, an expansive wall of closets, and its own screened-in porch. The main house, on its five lots, is fully fenced in with a private gated access to the secluded beach on the Atlantic Ocean for you to enjoy.”

But if you don’t want to commit to purchase either of the properties, they are available as vacation rentals through Tybee Vacation Rentals. “Baywatch” is the guest home. Although not “pet friendly,” as a rental, it is available for a minimum of four consecutive days from May 29 through Aug. 8, 2020. Here’s what “Baywatch” has to offer: “This immaculate Tybee vacation home has been professionally decorated with comfortable, light and airy décor, which is the perfect setting for a serene island vacation. Relax in the casual luxury of this wonderful home. Warning: You may not want to leave!” is how the house is described on the website. Among the amenities are: a custom kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a dining room with seating for eight; and additional dining outside in a covered patio and bar seating for four more. Also three bedrooms (two with king-size beds, one with a queen-size bed) with full baths, five big-screen TVs, and only a 50-yard walk to the beach. The sofa in the living room also converts to a queen-size bed, so the house can easily accommodate up to eight people.
Also according to the website: “The ground-level of the home is a great entertainment space with a flat-screen TV, stereo, Ping-Pong table, games, books and beach toys.” The yard is professionally landscaped and the beach is just steps away. For outdoor entertaining, “there are large covered porches with plenty of seating to enjoy the Tybee breezes. There is also a gas grill for cookouts!”
